Freestyle Coaches

John has been coaching for the last 11 years. He has worked for Gould Academy, Carrabassett Valley Academy and most recently Waterville Valley. John has worked under some of the best and most respected coaches in the country including Glenn Eddy and Nick Preston. John has coached at Nick’s trampoline camps and is a USSA Level 2 Aerial Coach. He runs the water ramp camps in Lake Placid for Freestyle America.

In addition to being the Development Freestyle Head Coach, John will be my assistant during the week with our full-time athletes. This will help us keep the coaching consistent and pave the way for smooth transitions from Devo to Ability. One of my biggest goals, when I took the Program Director job, was to make sure that I would still be on the hill with the kids day in and day out. John will be able to take ownership of Devo so that I can stay on snow where I am the most effective.

John brings a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge of the sport with him. I see his coming on board as a turning point for Freestyle at SSCV and am excited for all of you to meet him!
