Future Stars Home

The Future Star program progressively develops the ski and snowboard skills of children ages 6-9 years old in a safe, fun and challenging environment on Vail Mountain. On-snow technical training and participation in the Steadman Clinic Future Stars Vail Cup events are the basis of this program. The goal at this age is to open the possibilities by exposing the athletes to the four different disciplines (Alpine, Freeskiing, Freeride, and Nordic) that ski club offers. A strong fundamental skill base will allow your child to develop to their personal potential and specialize in their future area of interests. There is no better way for kids to learn about their potential, limits, friendships, sportsmanship while learning a lifelong pastime.  They will be acquiring the very best skiing and riding skills along the way as well as an introduction to safety, etiquette and competition arena protocols.

Program Details

• Program dates: December 10 - March 24 (except Dec 24)
• Program days: Saturdays 
• Program Fees: $2,250/ $1,575/ $1,350 (Please see Subsidy Policy for more information on pricing)

• Professionally coached by SSCV Pro Staff
• Same primary coach all season long
• Seasonal Winter Program (Dec-Mar)
• Low athlete to coach ratios
• Affordable (low cost with subsidies & scholarships available)
• Ages 6-9 (recommended ages except for Nordic ages 6-13)
• All – day Saturday Program  (Except Nordic-Mon 3:45pm-5:15pm)
• 14 contact days and training  for Vail Cup (weather dependent)
• "Downhill Dash" (Technical Freeski/Ride SSCV Scholarship Fundraiser)
• Additional “Plus” programs offer specialization or introduction to other disciplines (Alpine Race, Freestyle (Moguls), Freeskiing (Park/Pipe), Nordic, Snowboard). Three scheduled Sundays for each program (extra)
