Scholarship Fund

Ski & Snowboard Club Vail believes no one should be restricted from participating in SSCV programs because of financial reasons.

Hundreds of boys and girls have been the beneficiaries of scholarships from SSCV to help defray program costs. Last year, over 110 recipients from our nearly 500 participants received assistance totaling over $110,000.

Scholarships are available for up to 60% of program costs for athletic programs as well as the VSSA (Vail Ski & Snowboard Academy) Winter Tutorial program. A Simple Scholarship program is also available which provides up to $500 in scholarship assistance.  (Simple Scholarships do not require detailed financial information from the applicant.)

This scholarship assistance comes from individual and corporate donations, fundraising events such as the Chad Fleischer Ski & Tee Weekend and the Annual For the Kids Scholarship Raffle. In fact, SSCV staff believe so deeply in opening the door to the sport we love that 100% of coaches, teachers and administrators participate in the annual scholarship drive via payroll deductions and/or outright gifts.  Please join us in our mission to provide youth the opportunity for character growth and excellence through athletics.
