April 19, 2014, Vail, CO – No matter the snow conditions, if Ski & Snowboard Club Vail (“SSCV”) hosts a late season Giant Slalom race in Beaver Creek, racers from all over Colorado and nearby states will come, and this year, 2014, was no exception.

With some of the best late season snow in years, more than 500 USSA racers ranging from U10’s to Seniors (age 8 to college racers), competed in a full day of races on both Saturday, April 5, and Sunday, April 6, making it a truly spectacular weekend.  These races also provided an opportunity for the older competitors to score valuable USSA points to improve their ranking in anticipation of next season.

Many SSCV racers ended the season with top 10 finishes in crowded fields of strong competitors.  Results include:
