As you may know, SSCV runs a nations-leading Continuing Education Program for its staff in October of each year.  This year we are excited to include our parents and community at large in our programs.  Renowned speaker John O’ Sullivan and Norwegian Head Men’s Coach Christian Mitter will be presenting in the evening on Monday, October 12 at the Vail Mountain School Auditorium!  We encourage you to attend!

Not only will John and Christian be speaking to our parents and the community at large, but they will also be running workshops for Ski & Snowboard Club Vail coaches and leadership during the day prior to the evening event.

About John O’Sullivan

John is the founder of the “Changing the Game Project” and is an internationally recognized and sought-after speaker on the subject of creating positive coaching and parenting environments for youth sports. His book is a bestseller:

About Christian Mitter

Christian Mitter, Head Men’s Alpine Coach from the Norwegian Team, will provide another unique and special opportunity to meet one of the most successful World Cup and Olympic Coaches of our generation. Christian was personally responsible for coaching World Cup Star Henrik Kristofferson from youth to the Olympics. His presentation is entitled:

“Development from Club to Olympic Podium”

Event DetailsThe event will be held at Vail Mountain School on Monday October 12th.  Christian’s presentation will be from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm with Q+A. John’s presentation will begin at 6:00 pm and be approximately 70 minutes in length. You will have an opportunity to interact with John and Christian during and after the event.  There is no charge for this opportunity!

SSCV Leadership strongly recommends that at least one parent of each SSCV family attend this event.
