Giant Slalom
The Steadman Clinic Vail Cup hosted by Ski & Snowboard Club Vail kicked off on Sunday with the first of a four part complimentary competition series for athletes birth year 2000 and younger at Golden Peak. Over 150 athletes took part in the Giant Slalom. A few of these racers are pictured below after a great morning of racing. It’s not too late to join in on the fun for the rest of the series on January 31 (Giant Slalom and Moguls), February 14 (Halfpipe and Slopestyle) andMarch 6 (Little Big Mountain and Giant Slalom). Ski & Snowboard Club Vail Nordic Program Director Dan Weiland kicks off the start of the Steadman Clinic Vail Cup Nordic Race on Sunday. Fun was had by all during this early morning ski at the base of Golden Peak.
